Animation Production 1

For this project we're to produce an animation about 'the journey' or 'the quest'. Like apparently there's only 7 plots. I don't know where Blade Runner or Clockwork Orange fit in but.. My approach is going to be done using Cinema 4D software. It's bewildering at first as the interface so variable, but granted once you're shown, it sharp becomes second nature. Loading in assets is a doddle. Since I've had a scanner and the relevant software to work with from home I got off to a productive start though my progress was halted by first Photoshop stopping working followed by my scanner:/ Photoshop's sorted as I got a new one. Neither Knowhow or my mates are able to diagnose what's up with my scanner. Like it prints fine.. Only 3 months old as well. Never mind, I guess the trick is to not get too wound up about these things. Is frustration though. So.. The stage I'm at now is I need to finish off drawing my characters walk cycle which is to then be scanned into Photoshop, cropped and tidied ready for being imported to Cinema 4D. I also have to create the environment. Got two weeks so really need to get my skates on for this. Problems so far.. Well when I'm trying to rotate something clockwise
But instead it starts spinning like a coin like this. I'm also struggling to set the camera to record when it has been aligned to a spine? As far as changing the axis of an object is concerned. The only advise I can find is an online tutorial where it says you go to 'tools' and then 'object axis'. The version of Cinema 4D I'm using hasn't got an object axis. I can alternatively address this by cropping it appropriately in Photoshop.
